In 2004, Don Langeneckert, along with his sons and grandsons, embarked on a journey to the Grand Canyon. The highlight of this trip was the mule ride to the base of the canyon. 2 years later, we returned to the canyon to float the white rapids of the Colorado River. Based on these experiences, Don created a series of oil paintings that explore the grandeur of the canyon and the power of the Colorado River.  Click on the “slideshow icon to view larger images.
